The programme provides ambitious postdoctoral researchers of any nationality with a unique opportunity to conduct independent, frontier research in a world-class scientific environment. Coordinated by IOC PAS, Poland’s leading research centre in organic chemistry, MATERIALIZE supports broadly defined, discipline-driven research in organic synthesis and synthetic methodology, incorporating selected aspects of materials chemistry. The discovery of new synthetic routes, concepts, and methods may also open opportunities for applications in areas such as optoelectronics, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), NIR-II bioimaging, and molecular sensing.
