36-month position
A full-time research position at IOC PAS for the duration of the fellowship.
The remuneration consists of:
The gross amount is the contractual remuneration before income tax and employee social-security and health-insurance contributions.
Individual net salary will depend on the fellow’s personal circumstances and the tax and social-security rules applicable at the time of employment. For this reason, the we could not guarantee a specific net amount.
The salary will be sent to a bank account in Polish zloty at the exchange rate specified by the MSCA COFUND rules.
Employment at IOC PAS will include social-security and public health-insurance coverage in accordance with Polish law and the terms of the employment contract.
Fellows will also be eligible for:
paid annual leave (36 days);
paid sick leave and sickness benefits;
maternity, paternity and parental leave;
other statutory employee entitlements applicable under Polish law.
MATERIALIZE fellows will be employed full-time at the Institute of Organic Chemistry, Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw for the entire 36-month fellowship.

Subject to the institutional rules applicable during the employment period, IOC PAS employees may receive:
private medical care;
co-financing for sports cards;
additional leave-related bonuses;
social benefits for employees with children;
remote-work opportunities where compatible with research responsibilities and institutional regulations
possibility of accommodation in the on-site guesthouse on the attractive conditions (possible only at the beginning of the stay, depending on the availability of places).
Because much of the fellowship involves experimental laboratory work, remote working arrangements will depend on the nature of the tasks and must be agreed with the supervisor.
1200 EUR/ per month
Appropriate research, training and conference costs will be supported through programme resources.
These funds are intended for eligible project-related expenditure and should not be considered as part of the fellow’s personal net salary. Their use will be subject to the MATERIALIZE financial and institutional procedures.
International fellows will receive information and administrative guidance concerning employment onboarding and the institutional documents required to begin work at IOC PAS.
